Mahnaz Khazen Ph.D, MRICS, CCIM, CPM is a leader in urban revitalization and community empowerment with a decades-long career in residential and commercial real estate and neighborhood transformation in the San Francisco Bay Area and nationwide.
Mahnaz is a partner of the California Development Regional Center, (CalDev), a San Jose-based company that specializes in attracting domestic and foreign investment into social impact projects across the United States.
CalDev specializes in education, heritage preservation, community center development, affordable housing, and healthcare delivery sectors in the U.S.
Mahnaz is a member of the International Activity Committee of CCIM, (Certified Commercial Investment Member), the leading commercial real estate certification institute, is a licensed Property Manager-CPM, and a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors -MRICS.
She has also served as Vice President of the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce.
Mahnaz has extensive international business experience, is fluent in four languages, and is an expert on ways of enabling foreign investment to address social needs and empower communities in the U.S.
Community and Non-Profit Involvement
Alongside her sizable impact on job creation in the Bay Area, Mahnaz has been a long-standing and active promoter of community organizations and non-profits.
She co-founded the International Businesswomen of Impact, and is a founding member of the Pars Equality Center. She is an advocate for housing and job opportunities for veterans, women and economically under-served families.
She is Chair of Trustees at the West Asia Council, a non-profit organization that promotes intercultural understanding and reconciliation.
